Various looks for individual pieces can be created by
means of an erosion process within the mould. By etching or spark
erosion a structured mould surface can be created. The respective
mould must be covered to protect the surface from the acid. The areas
to be structured are not covered but receive an acid-proof coating
which protects the areas of the structured surface which should not be
etched by the acid, e.g. the veins of a leather-look structure.
